Description
Remember the taste of Grandma’s cream sugar. Or her sugar pie. If your grandmother came from rural Quebec or the working-class neighborhoods of the big city. This is the basis of our caramel. We also put apples in it, like in apple butter. It makes the caramel less sweet and more enjoyable.
Made with black maple from Île d’Orléans, pure cream from Laiterie Royala in Saint-Joseph de Beauce, apples from Ferme Laval Gagnon in Sainte-Famille de l’Île d’Orléans and roasted hazelnuts.
