Apple maple cream

Description

Remember the taste of Grandma’s cream sugar. Or her sugar pie. If your grandmother was from rural Quebec or the working class neighborhoods of the big city. This is the basis of our caramel. We also put apples in it, like in an apple butter. It makes the caramel less sweet and more enjoyable.

Made with black maple from Île d’Orléans, pure cream from Laiterie Royala in Saint-Joseph de Beauce and apples from the Laval Gagnon farm in Sainte-Famille de l’Île d’Orléans.
