Rhubarb and Tite Fraise Strawberry

Rhubarb and Tite Fraise Strawberry

The Rediscovered Treasure: Rhubarb and Tite Fraise

A grandmother's recipe saved from oblivion

Some flavours were dropped by the food industry because it never learned to master them. Rhubarb and Tite Fraise jam is one of them. Long lost with the women who kept its secret, this legendary recipe is reborn today in our pots, true to Île d'Orléans tradition.

A partnership with the land

The secret of this jam is perfectly fresh rhubarb. For that, we count on Chantale, our gardener-farmer and longtime partner in crime. With her expert hands and precious resources, she supplies almost all the rhubarb for this very limited production. That rarity, combined with the delicate little strawberry, makes every jar exceptional.

Chantale's tip

Why make it complicated when perfection is so simple? Chantale recommends enjoying it the island way:

  • A thick slice of fresh bread from Boulangerie Blouin in Sainte-Famille.
  • A generous layer of fresh butter.
  • A pinch of salt to make the flavours sing.
  • And of course, our Rhubarb and Tite Fraise jam.

Why it's unique

  • Handcrafted and rare: Production depends entirely on Chantale's garden.
  • Nostalgic taste: The perfect balance between the bright tang of rhubarb and the sweet fragrance of little strawberries.
  • Living heritage: The return of a forgotten classic the food giants could never match.
